LUSH HONEY BEE

To me, it just isn't a proper bath unless it's a Lush bath. Recently my box of Lush goodies was found empty, and I was left feeling very underwhelmed hopping into my bath tubs without the usual piles of fluffy bubbles and bright coloured water. I found this in Lush after it catching my eye with the bright colours, and strangely enough Honey Bee is actually a bath bomb I've never used before!

THE PERFECT NUDE?

A good few months ago now in my search for the perfect nude, I stumbled across the new (at the time!) L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Collection Privee lipsticks. They are a collection of nude lipsticks coloured based on fitting perfectly with different skintones. They used celebrities and models to market the selection, and buying online I figured I was closest to Julianne Moore's skintone, so I picked 'Barely Peach'.

THE SUNDAY POST: H&M HOME HAUL

My house is mostly filled with vintage and second hand bits, but every so often I like to throw some new pieces into the mix. H&M home is one of my favourite places to shop for new homewares, and after finding a couple of discount codes online I thought I'd buy the few pieces that had been stored in my basket!

A NEW OBSESSION

There was a time when hand cream played absolutely no part in my beauty regime. It was only when I went a little stir-crazy over Soap & Glory, decided I needed to try absolutely everything from the brand and bought Hand Food that I realised, hey, this actually makes a pretty big difference! Since then I've added quite a few to my collection, so I'm going to talk you through my favourites.

GIVEAWAY: A LITTLE LOVE FOR PRINTIC

I'm a huge fan of instagram, and as much as I love having all my pictures on my phone, there are a few times I wish we were still back in the days of having to take old camera reels to be printed. So, when I got an email asking if I'd like to try Printic, I jumped at the chance. Printic, in case you didn't already know, is an app available on iOS or Android that you can use to simply select as many pictures as you'd like, press print and pay, and within a couple days they'll be on your doorstep!

FOREVER REPURCHASED #1

I don't know if it's just me, but a few times a year I find all my favourite products running out at the same time. I'm in desperate need of a new serum (I've been reducing mine to just half a pump a day), and although I have the Dove repair spray, it just isn't the same as my beloved.

THE PERFUME TRAY

A few years ago I fell so deeply in love with a perfume, I decided that was the one for me and I didn't need any others. Fast forward a few years, and whilst said perfume is still my absolute favourite, I've added a few extra to the collection. They all sit on top of a tray I picked up from a charity shop on my 1940s vanity, and look rather pretty!

THE SUNDAY POST: STAYING IN FAVOURITES

This week has been a quiet one; so quiet, I'd usually be going out my mind with boredom, but knowing how busy next week will be I've been enjoying the peace, getting lots of blog posts scheduled and catching up on pinterest. There's a few things that have been making staying in especially enjoyable this week, that I thought I'd share..

WEEKEND WISHLIST #1

1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6

I feel like it's been forever since I've done a wishlist, and although my bank balance might curse me for it, I thought I'd throw one together anyway!

01. Lush's seasonal themed collections are literally one of my favourite times of the year, Valentines being so exceptions. I mentioned a few days ago I go weak at the knees for anything heart themed, so I absolutely love the look of this new massage bar. If you're boyfriend is unwilling to use one on you, *cough* Kane, you mean thing *cough*, they double up great as a body moisturiser too.

BENEFIT POREFESSIONAL AGENT ZERO SHINE

After reading so many great reviews of Benefit the Porefessional Agent Zero Shine Powder, I immediately added it to my gigantic little mental wishlist. So I was incredibly happy to find out a couple weeks ago that I'd won one in a giveaway, and a couple days later it was mine! I've mostly seen nothing but great things about this powder, but I'm still a little undecided.

ETSY DOES VALENTINES..

1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5

I get a little bit carried away at Valentines; the majority of the male population think it's an utter waste of time, my boyfriend included, but I go for the whole shabang, buying cakes, sweets and pretty much every heart shaped in sight. I think if you are one for giving presents, Etsy is a great place to get something a little more personal and handmade, as well as supporting small businesses.

BECCA AT FRAGRANCE DIRECT

Fragrance Direct is a wonderful, wonderful place. For those of you that aren't already familiar, if you've ever had your eye taken by make-up, perfume or skincare that's a little bit too pricey, FD is an online discount store selling brands such as Dainty Doll, Real Techniques, and La Roche Posay. They do usually stock the older seasons and discontinued items so you may not be able to find the latest hype there, but they have a huge range of brands and items.

CURRENT LOVES #1

I've been revisiting a couple of old favourites recently, as well as trying out some gorgeous new products thanks to Christmas presents and the many samples I got in my advent calendar this year. My skin has been acting up a little bit and I got a bit stuck in a rut with make-up, so I've needed some good skincare basics and bright lipsticks to pull me out of it!

BALANCE ME CLEANSE & SMOOTH BALM

Cleansing balms have become a huge must-have amongst pretty much every beauty blogger. The most well known of such of course being by Emma Hardie, but not having over £30 to spend on a cleanser, I thought I'd try out the Balance Me Cleanse and Smooth Face Balm having heard such wonderful things from the gospel according to Hirons.

THE SPRING LIP LINE UP

I realise Winter has literally only just begun, but the end of Christmas usually results in me looking forward to Spring. The past week or so has seen me ditch the deep reds, fuschia pinks and plums in favour for a few lighter shades. Here's what I'll be reaching for the next few months..

OPERATION ORGANISED

One of my new years resolutions is to work more and be more organised, which obviously requires some new stationery! I treated myself to a couple bits from the Paperchase sale with some Christmas money, but really there's never any need for an excuse to buy more pretty bits for my desk.

THE SUNDAY POST: JANUARY HAPPY LIST

It's easy to get the 'January Blues' after the festive season is over. Christmas is 11 and a half months away, most people are back to work tomorrow and we've got another three months of Winter left! But this year I'm focusing on the positives, and the things I'm looking forward to each month!

2014 BEAUTY RESOLUTIONS

As well as my normal resolutions, I've told myself I need to make some beauty ones this year too. I'm sure we're all guilty of sometimes being a little lazy with our beauty routines, and then we're suddenly surprised when we wake up with a couple new blemishes after we've slept in make-up, or our hair doesn't look great when we've neglected all the hair masks sat in the bathroom. No, just me? Oh..

A NEW YEARS WISHLIST

1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8

Every new year I tell myself I need new things; I'm not entirely sure why, but it almost feels like the start of a new school year, with new clothes, stationery and other little bits! I really need some new pyjamas as mine have all but fallen apart, and I'd like something to sleep in too as I spend most of my days working from home in pyjamas. I'd like a new mug too, although I seem to be cursed with the Cath Kidston ones. I've had four now, all of which have met their demise and smashed. I also need a new pair of trusty black flats, as my last ones now have holes all around the sole.
