THE PERFUME TRAY

A few years ago I fell so deeply in love with a perfume, I decided that was the one for me and I didn't need any others. Fast forward a few years, and whilst said perfume is still my absolute favourite, I've added a few extra to the collection. They all sit on top of a tray I picked up from a charity shop on my 1940s vanity, and look rather pretty!

The newest addition to the clan is Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf. As the name would suggest, it's a very floral scent, quite sweet and fresh, probably more suitable for a younger market. It's a pretty and feminine fragrance, which is really what I go for! I picked up Prada Candy from duty free this year, which isn't something for everyone but one I personally really love.  It is sweet, but with notes of musk and spice which makes the caramel base not too sickly and overpowering.

My most worn everyday is probably Marc Jacob's Daisy as it is just so wearable. It has notes of strawberry, jasmine and vanilla, and I don't think I've ever met anyone who doesn't like Daisy. I also have the little purse bottle which is so cute for throwing in your handbag or taking travelling. And my all time favourite, is Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel. I've been wearing this since I was fifteen, and I probably get the most compliments whenever I wear this. It is the most expensive of the lot so I usually save it for nights out or going out for meals, but it's one of those I know I won't ever stop wearing.

I also have a couple little perfume oils which are cute for travelling too, and I actually really like some of the Soap & Glory sprays, although they don't really fit in on the tray so they're in drawers! Do you own any of these? What are your favourite perfumes?

  1. I may be the only one in the world who doesn't like Daisy! :) Chanel Coco Mademoiselle is also my favourtie perfume of all time and it's kind of how my blog's name was created (together with two first letters of my surname). :)

  4. I have loved Flowerbomb for years, until I discovered La Vie est Belle by Lancome which is very similar but a lot more gentle (strill strong though) - I can only recommend :)
