There is nothing like the start of Spring that gets me in the mood to sort my house out; I’ve been doing a LOT of cleaning recently, and a good few bags of things have made their way to our local charity shops. With that comes the inevitable lusting after new stuff, as I think about the things that I’d like to really finish off a room. Of course, it’s never really finished, but I guess that’s life as an interior lover.
We’ll start with a store called Zurley’s, that until recently I hadn’t heard of. They stock a pretty massive range of homewares and furniture, but after a quick search for side tables this stunning marble and brass number won me over immediately. It looks like the perfect size and shape for a little spot we’ve got next to our smaller sofa, and anything marble or gold is a-okay with me.
The lamp is also from Zurley’s, and I’ve only just realised that there seems to be a bit of a theme going on! I could have lamps on every surface (along with flowers and plants), and this marble and bronze one is just dreamy. They come in a little and large design, personally I think they would look incredible next to each other, rather than just the one lamp. What do you think?
Of course, no home wishlist of mine is complete without something from H&M Home, and I’m slightly obsessed with these splatter print plates. Since doing our bedroom makeover, the new wallpaper and paint colour allows us to be a lot more adventurous with our bedding, and I love the tropical floral print on this set. The salad servers are also from H&M, because if there’s anything that’ll actually get me eating salad, it’s these!
Ada’s room is one of the more colourful rooms in the house, and I think this beautiful pom pom cushion from Little Edit would be a lovely edition! They also stock the Olli Ella Storie Stool’s, and I’ve got my eye on one of the natural ones for Ada’s room. They’re so cute, and double up as a table, storage and a stool.
We’ve needed a new rug for the conservatory for ages now, and we actually did buy this La Redoute rug when they had they’re 40% off code, but I thought I’d include it anyway! It’s in the Berber style that I love, but with a little more colour than I’m used to. I’m looking forward to it brightening up the space!
I’m also in desperate need of some book-ends; I only have a few books on display thanks to a lack of storage, but theyr’e currently being held up by plants. It’s a reasonable solution but they don’t hold the books well enough to make the books properly straight, which drives up a liiiiittle bit crazy. These crystal bookends from Oliver Bonas are stunning.
Have you got your eye on anything for your home this Spring?
