PRIMARK & TOPSHOP HOLIDAY HAUL

Ready to brace the stormy, windy weather of Amsterdam this week, I thought I'd allow myself to buy a few treats, but really they are essentials for winter (and I'm not just saying that!) The only boots I have are the allegras which aren't perfect for everyday, so I got some more practical shoes than my ballet flats from Topshop. They aren't my usual style but they're pretty sensible and versatile enough to go with most of my clothing.

A LITTLE BIRTHDAY WISHLIST

1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

It's my birthday in three days, and it just wouldn't be a birthday without a little wishlist! I've already been spoilt by a few friends who bought me some marc jacobs perfume, a beautiful bunch of flowers and an incredible bottle of salted caramel popcorn vodka (best thing ever, fyi!) I'm also off to Amsterdam on Monday and I'm so looking forward to having a really good holiday, having an explore, eating some good food and doing a little bit of shopping!

A LITTLE LUSH CHRISTMAS

Lets face it, a lot of us love Lush Christmas releases. This year I squealed a sound probably only dogs could hear, but moving house meant I had to resist putting in a huge order online. I found myself in store last week and again had to resist adding everything to my basket, and instead picked a few of the newer pieces, along with an old favourite.

September favourites

superfacialist una brennan vitamin c cleansing oil, lush herbalism cleanser, ciate my fair lady polish, real techniques contour brush, n07 moisture drench romantic lipstick, l'oreal eversleek hair mask, ren clearcalm 3 night serum

Well, it certainly has been a long time since my last favourites video! I had to be pretty selective with what I chose as the majority of my make-up and skincare has already been packed away, and I've just been left with the essentials. That said, they are my essentials at the moment for bloomin' good reason, and they've all been doing a great job of sorting out whatever mess is currently going on with my hair and face! I'd love for you to give the video a little watch and subscribe to my channel

Autumn dressing

blouse: ASOS, jumper: TU at Sainsburys, deer brooch: charity shop, trousers: TU at Sainsburys, bag: ASOS, daisy body lotion: car boot, bow gloves: ASOS

I am, without a doubt, an Autumn lover. It's my favourite season for many reasons, although the fashion is definitely high up there. In Summer I'm really relaxed; give my hair a brush, throw on a dress and I'm good to go. Autumn releases the clothes lover inside me, usually those with pretty collars, printed trousers and little t-bar shoes.

I've been doing a little bit of shopping recently, first stop at ASOS. I spotted this sweet little peplum collar blouse first, but wasn't 100% sold at first. I really didn't like how they'd styled it on the model, worn with a really short black skirt, hair scraped up and black ankle boots, but imagining myself wearing it with little cigarette trousers and simple black flats won me over. It's even prettier in real life, I love the little crochet detailing on the collar. I've been adding more accessories to my wardrobe too, so I couldn't resist the sweet little bag at such a good price! I'm always neglecting clothes in the colder months too so I can use my phone, so I finally got round to buying some with the little touch screen fingers.

I also paid a little trip to Sainsburys recently and was so surprised how nice their new a/w clothes are! I couldn't resist the printed trousers, and I've been after a minty green jumper soon and haven't managed to find one, so this one really caught my eye too. I've been wearing them both together with a few vintage accessories, just so I don't look too 'high street'. Not really clothes, but I also found a Daisy body lotion and shower gel at the car boot recently. I don't usually buy anything like this because you really don't know how old they are or who's used them before, but a lady told me they were brand new and never used, so for 50p I took them away with me!

What do you think of my a/w buys? Are you a clothes lover around this time of year?
