An Easter Gift Guide

Easter Gift Guide 2018
Aaah Easter, that time of year you get inundated with silly amounts of chocolate that lasts for a good few weeks following. That is unless, you’re a pair of vegans (sorry, kiddo) and are pretty much limited to the odd dairy free chocolate bunny from Holland & Barratt. That said, I like to see Easter as more than a chocolate holiday, anyway; Ada gets two weeks off nursery, and we’ll be spending it doing crafts, baking and going on Spring days out.
So, in case you’re the same way inclined, I thought this year I’d put together a little alternative Easter guide, filled with the cutest bits and bobs you can treat yourselves or others to!
Papier Spring Notebooks
I had to start off with these absolutely delightful notebooks from Papier; I mean, an egg pattern notebook! They have a beautiful selection of notebooks online in lots of different patterns, but these designs are perfect for Easter. They can be personalised too, so the egg design is now Ada’s so she can take it around with her and draw in, and the spring floral will be filled full of my blog ideas.
Of course, it isn’t Easter without a bunny thrown in somewhere, so we picked up this little Peter Rabbit for Ada at the weekend. Until then I had only seen them in an Easter egg, but they were being sold individually in Sainsburys, so perhaps look there if you’d like to swerve the chocolate too.
Sainsburys Easter Gifts
The craft jar is also from Sainsburys, which is filled with a lovely selection of bits to do some Easter crafting over the holidays. It includes card, pom poms, egg and flower stickers, ribbons, glitter.. basically everything you could need! We made a couple of little Easter cards for relatives that we’ll be sending off this week.
The little chicken tin was from M&S, which was a little gift from Ada’s Auntie and Uncle; if something does have chocolate in, it’s a nice idea to get something that can be kept like this. I also think most animal things are okay for Easter, so I included this lovely Janod xylophone deer that we bought from Acorn & Pip.
We picked up some Spring themed clothing for Ada over the weekend (also from Sainsbury’s!) which could make a lovely Easter gift; an embroidered cardigan and some floral leggings would be the perfect outfit for going out egg rolling or a day out.
Have you bought any Easter presents this year?
