Autumn Around The Home

Usually the second September hits, I kiss goodbye to summer and bring out the autumnal decor. This year I’ve been a little more restrained, but once it starts, it’s pretty easy for me to go overboard.

Of course my candle collection goes into overdrive this time of year, and whereas I usually stick to burning just one in the summer months, I basically light them all now. My new favourites are the gorgeous fading metallic pillar candles* from Bolsius; they match my decor so well, I was actually put off lighting them for quite a while as they’re just so pretty. Bolsius kindly sent over a few bits to try out, the Autumn Walk candle is lovely too.

We went to the pumpkin patch at Kenyon Hall Farm last weekend, and had Ada and my Mum digging around in some quite frankly, past their best, pumpkins, to find me some of the cutest ones. I wanted a good mix of some nice different colours, as well as picking up some gourds. I’ve been wondering how involved I should get Ada in Halloween this year, and so far I’ve picked up some glitter spiders and a little pumpkin garland that’s already on display – too soon?!
Do you switch up your decor for Autumn?

Love this decor! I currently have a lot of room on my windowsill and this post has inspired me to go and stock up on candles to decorate it – not that I needed much convincing though haha

I don't add anything autumnal to my decor but I sure want to now after reading this! The pumpkins are so cute x
