The One That Got Away

SHOES: TOPSHOP (similar here)

Before you get any funny ideas, I’m not singing Katy Perry, I’m actually referring to this Topshop dress. You know the ones; you see them in store, uhm and ah for ages whether to just buy it, don’t, and then next time you go in it’s sold out. That happened to me, and then after a good few months of searching I finally managed to find one on ebay in my size! A couple of bids later and a few days wait, it was mine.

I know camel coats are quite popular at the moment, and I’ve been rocking this 70s one for a good few years now, even though I do feel like a bit of a granny in it. I threw on my trusty vintage satchel and watch, but wore my Topshop chunky shoes so I didn’t look a bit dowdy. I absolutely love my new to me Topshop dress and I know it’ll be a staple for this spring, especially considering I’m currently in the depths of a love affair with monochrome!

Looking lovely sweetie πŸ™‚ it's so wonderful when you manage to find that dream clothing item on eBay, it's happened to me before but when it came in the post it was too small, disaster! I really love that camel coat too, it's making me want to get mine out of my wardrobe and get some more wear out of it x
