One of my new years resolutions is to work more and be more organised, which obviously requires some new stationery! I treated myself to a couple bits from the Paperchase sale with some Christmas money, but really there’s never any need for an excuse to buy more pretty bits for my desk.

One of the first things I decided I’d wanted to buy is a weekly desk planner. They each come with 52 sheets that can be removed, with little sections for each day so it can be clearly planned out. I’m thinking of dedicating different days to different parts of my life; a couple days a week to list new stock, two to do all my blog posts for the week on my two blogs, and the other days to do whatever is necessary! I’ll be able to keep track of what I’m meant to be doing on which day, and what posts need writing too.

I couldn’t resist adding a little Rifle Paper Co. pad that I should probably put downstairs or in my bedroom so I have something to remind me of bits I need to do when I’m not in my office. Writing absolutely everything down really is the only way I keep myself organised, so I have notepads all over my house so I can jot everything down I need to. I was also given some pretty pens and bought some tapes too, although I think they’ll be used more in my scrapbook rather than for notebooks!

I feel a lot more prepared for my year ahead knowing I have everything I need, and I’m about to toddle off to plan my next week! Are you a stationery obsessive like me? How do you keep organised?

I love to organise things, getting lovely stationary to inspire me. I've seen a cute diary in Paperchase that I wan to pick up, to have everything in one place – at least that's the theory… :o). Xx

I use a calendar and a book to organise myself but I really like the idea of a weekly planner because you have so much room and can put all your ideas in one space xxx

Love new stationary especially ones that are pretty and I think it is amazing they motivate us even more when we get new pads like this.

I'm a list maker too, if it's not on a list it's probaby not getting done, so I love any excuse to buy new stationery. I don't have a weekly desk planner but that looks really useful! Lovely photo. 🙂

I love stationary too, although I actually need to stock up on some more! I always have my trusty moleskine by my side and I feel very grown up and important when I fill in important dates and to-do lists! It's the little things…

I'm a complete stationery addict too! I try as hard as I can to keep all my lists online – I use Wunderlist – it's a brilliant app – I even have a shopping list I share with my OH – he ticks things off at Tescos as he goes 🙂 But inevitably I have to actually write things down – usually on lots of scraps! Love those weekly planners – great idea!
