A Lazy Valentines Morning

I've never been one for going out on Valentines day (busy restaurants and competing for the most over the top gesture, no thank you!) and now with a baby in tow, it's even less likely to happen. I'm more than happy on the day to laze around the house; eating too many chocolates, perhaps with a little bunch of flowers, watching films cosied up on the sofa. So I was thrilled when Debenhams got in touch asking if they could help me celebrate the day with my loved ones.

Pyjamas are possibly my favourite thing to buy and receive, so a new slinky dressing gown is perfect to start the day. Typically you'd think of underwear for Valentines day, but as I'm breastfeeding, the pretty sets I'd love to buy are really out of the question! This Butterfly Print Kimono Gown from Ted Baker is such a pretty alternative, I'll definitely be wearing that whilst cuddling up to Kane and Ada in the morning. I don't need any excuse to have chocolate for breakfast, but it's definitely allowed on Valentines Day, and I know we'll be tucking into these delicious Ferrero Rocher!

When it's finally time to go downstairs, Debenhams have got us sorted on the cooking front too. I'm a generally terrible cook (trying to improve!) so I leave most of it to Kane. I'll probably request some pancakes this year, which we'll tuck into at the table staring at these gorgeous dozen red roses from Debenhams Flowers. Debenhams have well and truly sorted me out this year! They're a perfect place to shop for your gifts if you're looking to spoil someone, you can see their entire range here

How will you be spending Valentines Day this year?
