January Beauty Favourites.

January was a bit of a funny old month, in terms of beauty anyway. I feel like I've become a bit stuck in a routine of wearing the same make-up, when I actually do apply make-up which has been seriously unregularly anyway. I think most of the month has been spent in the bath, which is probably why half of this month's favourites are on the pamper side of things.

I'll start off with what few beauty items I do have, and with a gorgeous lip colour I've been wearing an awful lot. I decided it was finally time to put the red lipstick down and go for a different shade, and so came in NARS Torres Del Paine lip crayon. I got it in the Digital Lip Coffret and is a satin lip pencil so has a really creamy consistency and the colour just glides on and is so pigmented. It's a nice nude with a hint of coral so doesn't wash me out, I really love it. It goes lovely with Rimmel's Pink Rose blush which is such a natural, pretty shade, and is pretty good quality for the price!

I've switched my powder's around this month and have been seriously enjoying Jurlique's Rose Silk Finishing Powder*. It's such a light, translucent powder that applies flawlessly but manages to keep all my make-up in place for hours. I couldn't find anything in the ingredients that's particularly illuminating but my skin looks radiant when I use it, I'm a really big fan. I only have one skincare item as I'm currently testing out a few new things to report back on, but I got the Nuxe Creme Fraiche Masque at the start of the year. I usually use this alone but it makes a nice second mask to use after a clay one and it leaves the skin looking really clear and soft.

To avoid the cold and make myself feel better I've been spending too many evenings in the bath, and a way to make it to luxurious is popping in a few drops of the Jurlique Rose Body Oil*. Now I know it says 'body' oil, but for super lazy moisturising it's perfect to pop in as it leaves the skin feeling so silky smooth as well as creating a gorgeous scent in the bath. And something that's actually making me want to moisturise is Roger & Gallet's Body Sorbet* in Gingembre. I didn't think I'd like the scent of this one but I actually love it, and it sinks in so quickly so I'm not stood awkwardly around for ages trying to avoid sticky pyjamas. Roger & Gallet were new to be until the end of last year, but I love so many of their products now.

And last but not least is Dove's Nourishing Oil Care Express Treatment Conditioner. I've always been so impressed with all the Dove haircare ranges so I picked this up in my last trip to Sainsburys. Again, it appeals to my lazy side (you must all think I'm awful) but it works the same way as a mask but in just a minute, and after washing out and drying I'm left with really silky, smooth, frizz and tangle free hair, all for £3.99!
