Jurlique Blooming Roses.

It was only a couple of days ago that I received the Jurlique Blooming Rose* collection as a little gift through the post, and I couldn't help immediately get testing out both the products. I haven't always been a huge fan of rose scents, but Jurlique definitely changed that for me with their Rose Moisture Plus range I've had for a while, and I've had my eye on the Rose Body Oil and Rosewater Balancing Mist for quite some time now, so I was thrilled to see them arrive on my doorstep.

I absolutely love rosewater toners so I knew this one would be no different. It comes in a handy pump bottle that you can spritz over the face or onto a cotton pad; I prefer to apply directly onto my face as you seem to use less, but it also feels so lovely in the mornings too. You can also use this throughout the day to add a bit of moisture to your skin, I wish I'd had this throughout summer! Having oily skin I find this balances out my skin so well after cleansing, and leaves it feeling really fresh and clean. I always like using rosewater as my first toner, and this has gone to the top of the list of favourites!

I've been professing my love for body oils quite a bit recently; I have quite dry, scaley skin on my legs, and there's something about an oil that works so well and feels really luxurious. This is absolutely no different! It has quite a strong scent but I love how much it lingers after applying. If you find it a bit too overpowering, I've used it in the bath too which leaves less of a scent but still hydrates the skin really nicely. It comes in a little bottle with a dropper, I'd prefer a pump but being quite a small bottle I can understand the dropper method. Again, this has gone straight to the top of my favourites for body oils!

Have you tried anything from the Jurlique rose range?

  1. Jurlique is such a beautiful brand. I have one of their body washes (I think it might be rose-something scented?) but it's such a gorgeous body wash! It lathers so nicely and leaves the skin feeling rather nourished. These two products sound stunning as well, their Rosewater mist is definitely a cult product!

  3. Body oils are the best - nothing makes you feel quite as much like a Victoria's Secret model like the way your legs smell/look/feel after you've used a body oil. I've been using one from L'Occitane recently that I've really liked! x

I am also not a fan of rosy scents but enjoyed using Jurique Rose Toner (although it contains alcohol so I had to use it sparingly). Great reviews Cath! X

  6. I absolutely adore that Rosewater mist, I'm completely addicted to the scent, just delicious. I'll have to pick up that oil to try in the bath, also sounds like it would be beautiful.
