You Beauty CEW Limited Edition Box

You Beauty Discovery CEW Limited Edition Box

I'm a regular subscriber of the You Beauty Discovery boxes; for just £6.95 a month you can choose a couple of products that catch your eye the most, cutting out the disappointment some monthly subscription boxes give if you're not keen on certain items sent out. They quite often bring out a couple of Limited Edition boxes, the latest being a collaboration with the CEW awards 2014, and costs just £16.95.

Dr. Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Treatment Serum:
I was so happy to see this in there as I recently missed out on it in one of the usual You Beauty boxes. It comes in a large 100ml bottle, and I'm always using serums and oils on my hair to help calm down any frizz and keep it nourished. This costs £14.99, so almost the entire value of the box already!

Glamglow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment Masque:
Again, something I was thrilled to see inside. These have been all over the beauty world the past couple of months, but costing almost £35 a tub it's one of those I sadly won't be buying the full size of, but I can't wait to give it a test and see what all the fuss is about. This is a 15ml sample tube, but even this costs over £10.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream:
I'm a big fan of everything from Elemis that I've tried, but as this is really anti-ageing (something at 23 I don't quite need yet!) I'll be giving this to my Mum. Again, it's a 15ml tube, but the 50ml costs £80!

Manuka Doctor Purified Bee Venom and Manuka Honey Skincare:
I've been using a couple skincare items with manuka honey in recently which have made such a big difference to my skin, so I love the look of this little set. There are three 3ml samples inside, a skin treatment serum, a targeted wrinkle filler (off to Mum also!) and a rejuvenating face mask. I can't wait to give these a little test, and they also pop inside a 25% off discount code if you like them enough to buy the full size.

L'Occitane Milk Concentrate with Almond Milk:
I think I let out a little squeal when I saw this inside! I absolutely love L'Occitane but I mostly stick to hand creams, so I'm really looking forward to trying this body cream. It comes in a cute little 50ml tub making it perfect for travel, you can buy these online for £11 a pop.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer:
This rose to fame a couple years ago, and I still haven't tried it! I now have two tubes of these though, so next time I fancy a pamper I'll be popping this pre-shampoo treatment on. This is a 40ml tube, which I believe costs around £8.

I think this is such a fantastic box, if you want to try some of the best brands out there this is definitely for you. Value isn't everything, but everything in the box comes to just under £100, so absolutely worth making a little purchase! They also add in a few discount codes for some of the brands which is a really lovely touch, as well as a little sample of Caudalie Divine Legs.

What's your favourite product inside the box?

  1. I'm so tempted to try these boxes as I think they're always much better value for money, but alas I am currently a skint, unemployed student :( Hopefully when my finances are a bit better I can treat myself to a subscription x

  3. Oo, quite like the idea that you can pick & choose - disappointing beauty boxes are the reason I don't subscribe to any at all, but this one does look particularly good! I loveee the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer, you should definitely try it! :)

  4. I've always really liked what I've got in mine, and definitely worth giving as try as you can pick the two main products anyway! Thankyou :) xo

  5. I got a sample a couple of weeks ago but I'm so lazy for it, I read it like "What?! Leave on for 15-20 minutes.. awwwh hell no" haha. I will definitely use it next time I have a lazy Sunday pamper though. xo
