The bottom of my handbag is where a pile of make-up and beauty bits seem to amass constantly. I do pop a make-up bag in there, but it usually ends up all over the place with a total of seventeen lipsticks floating around. There's quite a few items I like to keep on me at all times, from the glamorous to the not so!
Of course, the obvious ones are the lip products; I recently became the proud owner of Nuxe Reve De Miel lip balm after winning a little Twitter competition and it was love from the first use. It's a thick, chocolatey-orange flavoured balm that gives some serious hydration to my dry lips. I always have ridiculous amounts of lip products in my bag, and my favourite at the moment is MAC Vegas Volt. It's the perfect coral peach for me and has really been brightening up the miserable weather the north has had recently.
I like to keep a few hand products.. erm, on hand, too, a couple of these which actually need replacing. I'm currently using Neom Complete Bliss Morrocan Rose Hand Cream which is lovely. It sinks into the skin really quickly and leaves a beautiful light, rose scent behind. I've run out of the Soap & Glory Hand Maid gel, so I've been using The Body Shop Mango Hand Cleanse Gel. This does a good job of leaving my hands feeling fresh, but sadly the mango scent is very fake, so I think a repurchase of Handmaid is on the cards!
I don't think I'm alone of occasionally popping out, thinking that your eyebrows are fine, only to go out, see them in a certain light and think "Christ!" because there's more than a couple straggly hairs. I have about four pairs of tweezers dotted around, one of my favourite sets are from The Vintage Cosmetic Company. They're really precise and easy to use, I do wish I had the pink set though! If I'm in a rush I sometimes forget to pop on a nice perfume too, so the Marc Jacobs Daisy Purse Spray is really handy to have on me.
Now for the un-glamorous part, Compeeds. Compeeds are my new best friends; practically every pair of shoes, including trainers, flip flops, anything, rub me, causing cuts and blisters. Plasters just don't work so Compeeds are 100% a handbag necessity for me, if only they were a little bit cheaper.
