I first bought one of the L'Oreal Colour Riche Liquid Lipsticks a few months ago, and after the releases of the Revlon Matte balms and Bourjois Velvet lipsticks, it sort of got pushed to the back of the lipstick drawer in favour for some bold, matte offerings. I rediscovered my shade 301. Rouge Soprano, and after finding out Boots had 3 for 2 on decided to pick up the other shades that really caught my eye in store, 201. Rose Symphony and 204. Tangerine Sonate.

I've always thought L'Oreal do some of the best lip products on the drugstore market, and these definitely don't disappoint. Housed in pretty gold packaging, a collection of nine shades from the lightest nude to a bright, bold orange. I ended up with a pretty decent colour range, choosing a pink, orange and red for myself.
I actually don't think the images do these enough justice - one of the things I love about these is that if you'd like more of a sheer colour, a simple swipe across the lips will do (as pictured), but the colours can also be built up into some serious pigmentation. They're a gorgeous non-sticky, hydrating formula, although do try to avoid swatching them all on your hand then running it through your hair, as I did! They're virtually undetectable when wearing, and don't suffocate or feel heavy on the lips. I love the versatility too, as they can be worn alone or on top of lipstick, I can't wait to wear Tangerine Sonate on top of MAC's Morange this Summer for a seriously striking lip.
The lasting power isn't the most fantastic, but I think I've really been spoiled by the Bourjois Velvet lipsticks recently, I'm going to have to get used to doing a check-up every few hours again! I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of these this Summer, whether sheer or bold, alone or with lipstick it's gorgeous lip looks guaranteed.
Have you tried these? What are your favourite summer lip products?
