L'Oreal Colour Riche Les Ombres - Nude Lingerie
Something I'm actually surprisingly quite lacking in are eyeshadow palettes. I stuck by my trusty MUA ones for years, and when I finally got one of the Naked palettes at the start of the year I've used nothing but since. I felt like exploring a few drugstore options, and spotted a lovely selection from L'Oreal, the Colour Riche Les Ombres collection. A couple of them caught my eye, but I ended up with Nude Lingerie which looked the most wearable of them all.
The idea of each palette is being able to create a gorgeous look using each of the colours. They suggest using the darkest brown close to the lash line and blended out slightly, with the bronze shades all over the lid, and the white under the brow brown. I like to just use them separately, using either of the glitter bronzes all over the lid, with a little of the brown in the crease and the white in the corners of the eyes and under the brows, which is a little more of a day look. This is a versatile little palette though, and despite only having four shades, quite a few looks can be created with this.
Onto quality, the pigmentation isn't the greatest I've ever tried, but the shades are quite light for the most part. They are a lovely, buttery formula that blend really beautifully and don't look too extreme. They're reasonably long lasting, again not the best of what I've tried, but for the price you definitely can't complain. This little quad cost just £7.99 (currently on 3 for 2, too!) so makes it a lovely little palette for travelling, whether you'd like day or night looks. I'd just recommend popping a bit of primer underneath which made all the difference for me.
Have you tried any of the L'Oreal Colour Riche quads? What's your favourite drugstore eyeshadows?
