The 2-in-1s

I love a good multi-use product; if I can use it for more than one thing, it definitely spurs me on to buy it. It's probably the thrifty side of me, almost like I'm getting my moneys worth if I can use something as a few different things. There's quite a few on the market, from cheek and lip tints, to skincare, or oils, and here's some of my favourites..

I've reviewed Caudalie Divine Oil on the blog before (read it here) and I still use it very regularly, I've got no idea how it's still so full! I've not come round to the idea of using it on my face yet, but after hopping out of every shower this is on hand to not only moisturise my body I also use a couple little pumps on the ends of my hair, which really smooths down any fly-aways and helps to nourish the dry ends. The spray makes this really easy to use on the body too, just a pump or two will do each area, and the scent is so beautiful!

I've been using the Balance me Congested Skin Serum for quite some time now, and usually I use a small amount to cover my chin or any other problem areas, but this can also be used as an on the spot solution dabbing a tiny bit onto a blemish or two. This has aloe vera, eucalyptus, lavender and chamomile inside, so creates a really soothing serum that I find especially handy when a big cystic blemish rears it's head. MAC Studio Fix Fluid is a bit of a cheat too, as really, it's just a foundation. However, it's such fantastic coverage that most the time I don't have to use a concealer alongside this as it just covers everything!

There's a few products you can use as a blusher and a lip colour as well which I love. The probably most well known ones are from Benefit, my favourites being Lollitint and Cha Cha tint. The former is a really pretty light pink lilac shade, and Cha Cha Tint is such a beautiful coral peach that I absolutely love in the warmer months. I also absolutely love the Becca Beach Tint in Strawberry. It's a gorgeous coral orange red that looks beautiful worn on both the lips and cheeks, just be a little careful with it as this stuff really packs a punch with pigmentation, and a little goes a really long way.

Do you have any multi-purpose products?

  3. I haven't tried any of those products, but I think I'd love to try the MAC foundation as I hear it's amazing. The only 2in1 products I own are like BB creams I think .. I should probably look into getting more lol
