Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask

I know I've mentioned this little beauty a few times in posts before, but I thought it was about time I did a full review on it. I've always been a big face mask user, although there was a time when I'd just buy clay masks to bust some blemishes. Since then I've got a full range of different masks which I make a little facial routine with around two times a week. The Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey mask is my latest addition and it's been creating fantastic results from the very first use.

This is the first product I've ever tried from Antipodes, a natural and organic skincare company from New Zealand. The Manuka honey mask is possibly one of their most loved products in the blogging world, so I was excited to give it a try after ordering a couple of months ago. I absolutely love the packaging, the simple black tube with a no-nonsense design, a quick twist of the lid, squeeze and apply. It's a gel-like formula, compared to most creamy style masks, with a sweet scent that's got some less than favorable remarks, but I actually like it and find it quite relaxing. Leave the mask on for fifteen minutes, rinse and reap the results.

Manuka honey is an incredible ingredient that draws all the moisture from the lower layers of your skin to the surface, leaving your skin hydrated, plump and bright. It also has fantastic healing properties so is also fantastic for oily blemish prone skintypes, working as an antibacterial product and astringent. It tingles slightly when on, and after washing off I'm left with baby soft skin. I honestly never expected results like this, but I've been finding myself wanting to use this a few times a week. Hydrated, supple skin with reduced congestion and blemishes is hard to resist!

I have to say my first experience with Antipodies has been seriously successful, and I've just ordered the Divine Oil as my Botanics one is on it's last legs, so I'm looking forward to testing that out. This really is one for all skintypes, whether you're dry, dehydrated, or oily, the Aura Manuka Honey Mask will sort out all of your skin woes!

Have you tried anything from Antipodes?
