Bumble & Bumble Deeep

Until recently, I've been a bit of a Bumble & Bumble novice; I've heard nothing but fantastic things about their products, and I've been getting on very well with their thickening hairspray recently, so I couldn't wait to try this out. I'm not actually a serial dye-er, nor have I ever bleached my hair, but I do occasionally leave it a little bit longer than I should to get a cut (I'm currently on about 2 a year!) so they idea of a deep 20 minute masque really appealed to me.

Deeep is a protein hair masque, designed for those who abuse their hair; there's no shame, we all do it, and this is something to give your hair a little back after the hours of straightening, bleaching, or just not looking after it like you should. It is recommended that you put this on for 20 minutes which I know will put some people off immediately, but I popped it on in a large bubble bath alongside a couple of my favourite face masks, and the time went by pretty quickly.

My first impressions of these actually weren't fantastic; the scent is lovely, but it didn't feel nice on my hair like usual 3-4 minute masks do, and it actually made my hair a little tangly. That said, I put a little bit more on and managed to work it through all my hair to sink in. After 20 minutes I washed it out, and my hair felt incredibly soft. I left my hair to dry like usual, and noticed after it was dry how shiny my hair looked! I've honestly never seen a natural shine like it. My hair was soft, silky and completely frizz free, although the very ends of my hair were still a little dry so I could have done with some hair oil, or perhaps concentrating the masque more on that area. It was also really tangle free which was something I was worried of when it was on my hair. It didn't weigh my hair down either, or leave any hint of greasiness.

Overall, I really enjoyed using this. It's a little on the pricey side, but as the occasional treat for your hair it does work wonders, and my hair isn't even that bad; I think the best results will be on those who lighten and bleach. I'm pretty sure I'll be using this once or twice a week for a long time to come.

Have you tried this? What did you think?

I haven't tried or even heard about it - sounds great! I usually stick to The Body Shop Rainforest Hair Butter as a hair mask treatment. :)
