Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette

Usually the word 'bronzer' makes me break out in a bit of a panic; before this, I was a complete bronzer virgin and I was convinced it would look ridiculous and muddy on my pale skin. That said, I've had my eye on this bronzer, blush and highlight trio palette for quite a while, and fell a little bit in love when it landed on my doorstep.

Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette is really the first of it's kind from the brand. Consisting of a sheer tan brown bronzer, a champagne highlight and a rosy pink blush, it's a perfect palette for on the go or travelling. The reason I didn't buy this sooner was the bronzer, but it is a described as a sheer colour, and this worked surprisingly well on me. It's a light shade, and very buildable, but didn't leave any 'muddy' or orange undertones that I was nervous of. I actually think olive or darker skintones wouldn't get along with this as I don't think it would show up too much.

The highlight is absolutely beautiful; it's a soft pink champagne shimmer that is incredibly pigmented. You really do have to be careful with this one, the first time I used it I was much too heavy handed which just ended up emphasizing a whole load of pores. Using an incredibly light hand and my Real Techniques Contour Brush, I applied this to my cheekbones, cupids bow and browbone which gave my skin a gorgeous glow.

The blusher I think most skintones will be able to get along with. It's quite a deep rosy pink, but being quite dark should suit most. It's mostly matte with the slightly bit of shimmer that gives a natural pink flush to the cheeks. I found this a little hard to blend, and I don't think it's quite as buttery soft as the likes of NARS blushers, but it's still in no way powdery.

After my first use I wondered why I hadn't got this sooner. The bronzer intimidated me at first, but all the shades are so workable and really look fantastic on my skintone. It's gorgeous quality, and of course in the beautiful packaging we've all come to expect from Urban Decay. It's a new handbag essential for me!

Have you tried this? What did you think?

    1. Blushers and highlighters are actually the one thing I have a relatively small collection of, so I buy away! Lip products on the other hand.. hehe :)

It looks so stunning on you! I was actually eyeing this up in Sephora the other day…it just seems too perfect for travel and convenience having all three in one package. Fingers crossed I pick one up before long!

This looks really lovely on you Catherine!! I've always wished I could use/buy this palette but I've swatched it many times in Sephora and the brozer just isn't a good match with my skin :/
