A COUPLE OF NEW ADDITIONS

SOAP & GLORY PULP FRICTION AND WHIPPED CLEAN

I had originally only popped into Boots to pick up the rest of my giveaway prizes, but then I spotted Soap and Glory on 3 for 2. I'm sure I'm not the only one who can resist those offers, and I thought it would be the perfect time to pick up a couple of new products that I'd had my eye on for quite a while. I've been a fan of every bath product I've used from Soap & Glory, and I was sure these would be no different.

And they weren't! Starting off with Pulp Friction, a lovely fruity body scrub that states 'pumice' as one of it's main ingredients, so it's guaranteed to give any dry skin a good going over. It has a wonderful fruity scent of fig, lemon and orange, and has fine granules that mean it isn't going to be too much for sensitive skin either. I like to start at my feet and work my way up, only using a small amount each time. I much prefer the tube packaging; don't get my wrong, the tubs are pretty and all, but they're so much un-necessary fuss when you're already all sudded up in the bath or shower.

And next, Whipped Clean which may now be my favourite shower product ever! I'm one of those people that hates body moisturizing; it takes far too long and I can't be fussed rubbing cream all over my body every time I want to clean myself. So, a product like Whipped Clean, described as a 'shower butter' is perfect for me, as it leaves my skin feeling nicely moisturized after I'm all dry. The scent is also one of the nicest things I've ever smelled; it's quite a foody scent, so not perfect for everyone, but the mix of almond, pistachio and vanilla is perfect to me. It smells a little bit like battenburg! I can't believe I've only just tried this, I'm after the Smoothie Star products next which apparently are quite similar.

Have you tried either of these? What did you think?

  1. I'm not a massive fan of after-shower moisturising either, so Whipped Clean is definitely on top of my 'to buy' list now! Lovely post as usual, sweetie x

  3. I love Pulp Friction, like the sound of Whipped Clean as I'm quite lazy when it comes to moisturising too. I love Clean on Me though. x
