YOU BEAUTY ADVENT CALENDAR; WEEK ONE

Week one of the You Beauty Advent Calendar is over, and what a week it has been! So far there's been a great mix of bits behind each door, great brands, and something that really is for everyone. It's still as exciting as ever getting up each morning and opening it up, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what's still on offer over the next couple of weeks.

First up was the Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask, in a little 10ml tube. I love trying new face masks, and I'm really excited to try this one out. This one is for anti-ageing so hopefully something I don't need too much of right now, but also gives a radiance and glow to the skin, so perfect for this time of year. Next was Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream, again something that's great for this time of year. I've used this a few times already and it feels lovely.

The third day brought some samples from Espa skincare, including a £15 skincare which is such a lovely idea if you like the products. Day four brought a gorgeous shade from Leighton Denny (which silly me forgot to picture), a beautiful deep burgundy red named 'Vamp'. I think it's possibly the fastest I've gone from owning to wearing a nail polish. Balance Me Super Toning Body Wash was behind day five, something I've actually tried before and really enjoyed, although I'm not 100% sure how good it is at toning my wobbly thighs!

Day six was a little foundation from Perricone MD, which I would love to have tried but it nowhere near suitanble for me, looking like more of a natural or honey shade, whereas I need Porcelain, if not lighter. Lastly, this morning I got some tweezers from the Vintage Cosmetic Company which is something that really appeals to me, and I definitely needed a spare pair as I'm always losing mine!

What's been in your beauty advent calendar this week?
