L'OREAL NUDE MAGIQUE EAU DE TEINT

I've always been cursed with a few skin troubles, which means usually if you say 'light coverage' to me, I'd hide in terror. L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint Foundation (mouthful!) has been marketed as having a 'weightless feel', which gives the impression you'll look like you're wearing nothing, with all the world left to see the bags under your eyes from a long weekend or the blemishes that have conveniently popped up on my chin. Boy, has it proved me wrong..

On first application, it feels like velvet.. It is the nicest, lightest foundation I've ever applied, and for someone who hates the feeling of your skin being weighed down by products, it is a dream. The actual foundation is incredibly thin, so you have to be careful with application; just follow the instructions on the back and none should go to waste. Being so watery, I thought the coverage would be nothing, but it definitely surprised me! It is still a little lighter than I'd like to go, but on good skin days I'm always reaching for this. It leaves my skin feeling incredible and really natural looking.

If you do fancy a bit more coverage it is buildable, but I found it left my incredibly pale skin looking just a little too dark for me, but darker skintones possibly wouldn't have that problem. I love the packaging too, the frosted glass bottle is elegant and pretty; I usually prefer plastic so there's no waste, but this is so thin I don't think any will end up trapped at the bottom! It's currently on part of Boots 3 for 2 offer, so if you've been thinking about making a little purchase, I'd definitely encourage you to pop this in your basket!

Have you tried this? What did you think?

  5. I've stuck to the same foundation since I was 18 which is the bare minerals powder as I find liquids really heavy but during winter I feel like I may need something a little more, I'll check this out in store definitely!

I've had spots pop on my chin too, damn hormones! I've found cetaphil to really help me though! They were selling some full sized bottles off in asda for a quid as they expire early next year so check it out if you're local to one!

  6. I've heard SUCH good things about this foundation… I'm just scared it's going to be drying since it's a powder finish!! Regardless I may have to give this a shot sometime soon. Would have loved to have seen before and after shots of this on your face to see the results it provides :)

  7. I've been thinking about giving this a go as everyone who's tried it has said such good things, I'm as pale as a ghost too so the limited colour range does put me off a little x
